Aberlour A'Bunadh is a tribute to the distillery's founder, James Fleming, crafted to replicate the style of whisky from the late 19th century. This cask strength single malt is exclusively aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, resulting in a robust and intense flavor profile. Bottled without chill filtration, it retains its full-bodied character. The nose offers deep aromas of spice, praline, and hints of orange. On the palate, rich notes of black cherries, ginger, and dark chocolate emerge, leading to a long, balanced finish with a touch of oak. Each batch is unique, with the alcohol by volume (ABV) varying slightly; recent releases have been around 60.9% ABV. This whisky is renowned for its deep, rich amber color and complex, sherried character.
