Hussong's Tequila Reposado, 750mL

Hussong's Tequila Reposado is an artisanal spirit crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave, harvested after a minimum of five years from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agaves are cooked using a unique method that combines traditional brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours, preserving their natural flavors. This reposado is aged for four to five months in American white oak barrels, previously used for bourbon, imparting a complex flavor and delicate aroma. On the nose, it presents rich aromas of caramel, butterscotch, brown sugar, vanilla, custard cream, butter, sweet agave, almond, citrus, cola nuts, mint, nutmeg, baking spices, and oak. The palate offers flavors of caramel, vanilla, banana cake, fruity agave, grassy notes, anise, licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking spices, toasted bread, grain, oak, and cedar. The finish is smooth and elegant, with lingering notes of toffee, vanilla, agave, wintergreen, anise, and cinnamon.
